PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — SEPTA tackled a series of issues at their meeting Thursday afternoon.

SEPTA Board voted to ratify a three-year contract agreement that ended a three-day strike by transit police last week. The contract includes salary increases and maintains health and pension benefits.

The transit agency also announced a five-year deal with Drexel University to name the 30th Street stop on the Market-Frankford Line "Drexel Station at 30th Street." New signs are expected to go up early next year.

Earlier this month, the transit system released the fourth and final version of a top-to-bottom redesign of its bus routes.

Now, SEPTA will have to wait another month to release plans for its network overhaul.

The plan was withdrawn from Thursday afternoon's SEPTA Board agenda because board members wanted more time to study it.
