PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Authorities have released new video footage of a brutal killing last month in North Philadelphia, hoping people may recognize the shooter and call in tips.
It happened on July 10, just before 11 p.m., inside a store on West Cumberland Street, near 16th Street.
A man is seen standing and seemingly waiting for food when another man dressed in all black walks in the doorway, covers his face from the surveillance cameras and shoots at the victim more than a dozen times.
Then, several people are seen coming in and out of the entranceway. One picks up the victim's gun and another stops in to pick the victim's pockets.
Police encourage anyone who recognizes the shooter to call them at 911 or 215-686-TIPS.
