PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police are looking for two people connected to a shooting that wounded two others on the campus of Lincoln University over the weekend.

University security officials said the shooting happened at about 10 p.m. on Saturday during the annual spring event known as Yardfest at the Chester County campus near Oxford.

University President Brenda Allen said in a statement that "a gun was discharged, causing two nonfatal injuries."

The female victims, who are not university students, were taken to Christiana Hospital. Our partners at NBC10 report they left the hospital Sunday morning.

Marc R. Partee, head of campus security, said "two individuals with white T-shirts" were being sought.

After the shooting, the school was put on lockdown, which was lifted early Sunday morning, officials said.

It is not yet known what caused the shooting, but WPVI-TV reported that both victims were hit by the same bullet and that it was fired in a bathroom.

This is a developing story and will be updated.
