PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A small plane crashed in Bucks County late Monday morning. Officials with the Doylestown Fire Company say the pilot was uninjured after his aircraft went down along Old Easton Road around 11 a.m.
Officials say the RANS S-19—a single-engine, two-seater plane—crashed in a vacant lot after taking off from Doylestown Airport.
The pilot was the only occupant of the plane.
Crews have secured the plane and controlled all hazards. The Buckingham Township fire marshal and the FAA are investigating the cause of the crash.
