PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — One person is in custody following a triple shooting in Southwest Philadelphia early Monday night that left one woman dead.
Police say around 5:15 p.m. three people, ages 15, 27 and 37, were outside when the suspect fired shots.
They say the 37-year-old was shot twice in the head and taken to a nearby hospital where she later died.
The 15-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder and the 27-year-old was shot in the leg. Both were taken to the hospital and are in stable condition.
A weapon has been recovered. The cause of the shooting is not yet known.
