PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Two teenagers were injured, one of them critically, in a multi-car crash in Oxford Circle.
It happened around 10:40 a.m. Sunday near Roosevelt Boulevard and Harbison Avenue. According to police, a 25-year-old man was behind the wheel of a black GMC Sierra and sped through a red light.
The GMC hit a black Acura TL and caused a chain reaction involving two more vehicles, according to investigators.
An 18-year-old driver and a 13-year-old girl were in the Acura and both were taken to the hospital.
The man is in critical condition, while the girl is stable. No injuries were reported regarding the driver who caused the crash or the two drivers in the other cars involved.
At this time, no charges have been filed.
