PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A man is accused of kidnapping a woman at knifepoint while she was putting her trash cans on the curb and getting something out of her car.
It happened Friday, June 5, in Springfield, Montgomery County.
Police said the woman’s kidnapper forced her into her apartment to get cash and her ATM card. They got in the car, and police said the suspect told her to drive to an ATM, where he made her take out cash.
He then forced her to drive to Philadelphia so he could buy drugs.
Finally, he made her take him to Willow Grove, where he got out of the car.
Police arrested the suspect, Michael Gordon. They said he was out on bail awaiting sentencing on several robberies that happened last year.
