PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police say the SS United States was burglarized Thursday.
Officers responded to reports around noon. They say some batteries and tools were stolen, and there was also property damage.
Authorities do not know when exactly the burglary happened. So far, no arrests have been made.

The burglary comes just two days after a judge approved a tentative deal to send the ship to Florida to be sunk and made into the world's largest artificial reef.
