PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police have arrested a man in connection with a triple shooting in North Philadelphia last week.
According to authorities, 39-year-old Nikeil Jennings opened fire on three people just after midnight on Wednesday, July 9, along the 2600 block of Cecil B. Moore Avenue.
Jennings was arrested two days later.
A 37-year-old woman was shot in the knee and ankle, a 35-year-old man suffered a graze wound to the hip, and a 29-year-old man was shot in the foot. All three were taken to the hospital and are in stable condition.
Jennings is charged with aggravated assault, firearms violations, and related offenses.

Jennings pleaded guilty to four counts of aggravated assault and a weapons charge. The rest of the charges were dropped. Police never gave a motive for the shooting. The 45-year-old is set to be sentenced in August.
