PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police are asking for help in locating a man they say attacked a woman in University City last month.
It happened on April 22 around 11 p.m. inside a store on Market Street, near 40th Street.
Surveillance video shows a bearded man in a black shirt and a backward Eagles cap following the woman into the store while talking to her. He then spits on her, rushes her in an aisle, and punches her at least three times in the face before being pulled away.
Police ask anyone with information about this suspect to contact them by calling or texting 215-686-8477. Tips can also be submitted anonymously online.
