PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Investigators are trying to find the person who fired a gun at police Thursday morning in Kensington, one block from the Market-Frankford Line’s Allegheny Station.

Around 8 a.m., authorities say two officers were trying to stop a man on foot for an unspecified investigation, but the man fired gunshots toward them. It happened along Allegheny Avenue between G and Potter streets.
