Man stabbed in NJ brewery; suspect arrested, charged

NEW JERSEY (KYW Newsradio) — A Collingswood man has been arrested and charged for a stabbing inside a brewery Saturday night that left a man hospitalized.

Police say they were called to the Raccoon Taproom on Powell Lane around 9 p.m. for a report of a “disorderly person.” Upon arrival, they found a 30-year-old patron who had been stabbed in an unprovoked assault.

The suspect, identified as 27-year-old Tahaa Elmogahzy, fled the scene. The 30-year-old was transported to a nearby hospital, where he is listed in critical but stable condition.

Elmogahzy was taken into custody Monday. He is charged with first-degree attempted murder.
