The company said the recall came after a vendor notified them of the possible contamination in a supplied ingredient.

The recalled items were distributed to New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia.

No injuries or incidents have come up in connection to the items, the company said.

Flower Foods said matching items should either be thrown out or returned for a refund.
