DOVER, Del. (KYW Newsradio) — An 18-year-old is dead after he was shot outside a restaurant in Delaware Friday night.
According to our newsgathering partners at NBC10, it happened just before 10 p.m. outside the CAVA on the 1000 block of North DuPont Highway.
When police arrived at the scene, they found 18-year-old Foster Trader of Dover on the sidewalk suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, as well as several spent shell casings scattered about.
Officials told NBC10 that first responders used life-saving measures on Trader, but he died at the scene.
What led to the shooting is not yet known. No arrests have been made.
