PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A teenage girl was killed in a shooting early Monday morning in Southwest Philadelphia.
The 17-year-old was found shot in the head along Chancellor Street, near 59th Street, around 9 a.m. She has not yet been identified.
In a separate incident in North Philadelphia, a 67-year-old man was fatally shot and a 53-year-old man was stabbed around 1 a.m.
The 67-year-old victim was shot in the cheek and shoulder along Ruscombe Street, near Fifth Street, close to the Olney neighborhood.
The 53-year-old victim was stabbed in the chest and is being held as a prisoner. It's unclear what happened between the two men. Police are still investigating.
