PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A teenager was hospitalized after he was shot in the Frankford section of Philadelphia on Tuesday.
According to police, it was around 1:30 p.m. on Tackawanna Street near Margaret Street when a 16-year-old boy was shot in the neck.
He was taken to a nearby hospital and listed in stable condition.
Andrew, a bystander, told NBC10 he heard the incident. "Me and another guy were unloading this forklift right here," he said, "and I heard a real loud shot and I go, 'What is that?' And we looked around, there's another kid just took off running right straight through here. So we figured it was a shot and then we just kept working."
A suspect has yet to be apprehended and the motive is under investigation.
