PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A 17-year-old was stabbed during a fight at a party in Logan late Monday night.
Police found the boy around 11:30 p.m. near 15th Street and Wyoming Avenue. He had been stabbed multiple times in the back and the leg.
They took him to the hospital, where he is in critical condition.
Chief Inspector Scott Small said investigators followed a trail of blood about two blocks to Carlisle and Wingohocking streets.
“Witnesses did tell us that there was a large party on the block and then there was a fight among several people, including this 17-year-old,” Small said, “and during the fight is when this 17-year-old juvenile male was stabbed several times in the back and the leg.”
Small said investigators are reviewing private surveillance cameras on both sides of the block to figure out what happened.
