PATERSON, N.J. (WCBS 880) -- Officials arrested two teens over the weekend in connection to a carjacking where a woman was dragged from her car in New Jersey.
The incident happened on Saturday at approximately 11:30 p.m. near 800 Main Street.

According to Paterson Police Director Jerry Speziale, the victim “was dragged from her vehicle during the carjacking” by two teenagers – ages 13 and 17, both from Newark.
The victim told officials that “the suspects opened her door and grabbed her by her arm and forcibly pulled her from the vehicle.”
Following a brief chase in Paterson and Clifton, the stolen vehicle pulled into a CVS Pharmacy located on Main Street and Crooks Avenue, then went through the drive-through and collided into a marked Paterson patrol car.
The stolen vehicle was then rear-ended by a second Paterson patrol vehicle, Speziale added.
The 17-year-old suspect was arrested on the scene.
The 13-year-old fled on foot but was caught a block away, Speziale said.
There were no injuries reported.
Both teens were taken to Paterson police headquarters, and are expected to be charged as juveniles, officials said Monday.
