PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Three teenage boys were injured when a gunman fired at least 50 shots at them on Monday afternoon in the Caroll Park neighborhood of West Philadelphia. Police say they were standing outside on the 1500 block of North Frazier Street.

A 16-year-old was shot five times and was considered extremely critical, according to police reports, and two others, a 13-year-old and another 16-year-old, were both shot in the abdomen. Authorities say the three victims have been stabilized at the hospital.

Police say it happened, just after 4 p.m. At least four gunmen were involved, and investigators think some type of rifle was used. Officers recovered a handgun in their investigation.

No one has been arrested.

Investigators believe the kids live in the area and at least two of them are homeschooled.

About 40 minutes later, and just two blocks away, on the 5500 block of Lansdowne Avenue, a 45-year-old man was shot twice in each leg. He is in stable condition at a nearby hospital.

Police believe the two incidents are not related.

The Philadelphia Police Department on Thursday released surveillance footage of the four suspects from the Frazier Street shooting. Anyone with any information is asked to call or text a tip to 215-686-8477 or submit a tip anonymously online.
