PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A South Jersey tennis coach has been charged after police say he showed a naked photo of himself to a 15-year-old girl who he was coaching.
Ovidiu Dragos, 60, of Moorestown, was arrested Monday by U.S. marshals and charged with endangering the welfare of a child, stalking and harassment.
Investigators said Dragos showed the naked photo to the girl at least twice during group lessons at the Cherry Hill Health and Racquet Club. They said he also put letters, cards, poems and gifts inside the girl’s tennis bag over a two-year period.
Dragos taught the teen in group and private lessons, according to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office. He also provided private lessons for boys and girls tennis at Moorestown High School.
