PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A man and a woman are in critical condition following a shooting in North Philadelphia that also wounded a child.
Police responded to reports of a shooting at North Broad Street and West Glenwood Avenue shortly before 3 p.m. Wednesday.
According to police, the man and woman, who were in a domestic relationship, were arguing inside of a car.
Sources said the 41-year-old man then shot the 36-year-old woman in the face. A round went through a window, according to police sources, injuring a child in another car.
Police said the man then shot himself in the head. Both victims were taken to a nearby hospital and are in critical condition. The child's condition is unclear at this time.
