NEW JERSEY (KYW Newsradio) — Two people are injured after a dump truck crashed into a home in Woodbury Heights Tuesday.

Andrew Halter of Gloucester County emergency management says the driver got into an accident around 1:30 p.m., crashed into a utility pole, then crashed into a home on the 600 block of Stratford Avenue.

Officials say part of the home collapsed on the truck, causing the driver to be trapped inside the vehicle for hours.

One person who was inside the home at the time of the crash was taken to a nearby hospital and is in stable condition.

Halter says the cause remains under investigation, but officials believe the driver suffered a medical emergency seconds before the crash.
