PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A Mega Millions ticket worth $4 million was sold in Camden County, New Jersey.
The winning ticket matched all five white balls — 7, 9, 18, 29 and 39 — in Tuesday’s drawing, a match worth $1 million. The ticket owner also bought the Megaplier option, multiplying their prize to $4 million.
The ticket was sold at the One Stop Shoppe convenience store on Whitehorse Pike in Atco, according to the New Jersey Lottery.
A ticket in Massachusetts matched all five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball, 13, on Tuesday, taking home the $31 million jackpot.
The Mega Millions jackpot now resets to $20 million for the next drawing on Friday.
Four Mega Millions jackpots were won in January, the most ever won in a single month, according to the lotto game.
In addition to Tuesday’s winner in Massachusetts, an individual in Maine won the massive $1.348 billion jackpot on Jan. 13. Just four days later, A New Yorker matched all six numbers and won $20 million.
Another Massachusetts player also won $33 million on Jan. 24.
