Investigators offer $5K reward for info leading to arrest in Wilmington carnival shooting that left 16-year-old dead

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Investigators are offering a $5,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest in the shooting death of a teenage boy at a carnival in New Castle County, Delaware earlier this month.

On May 11, Delaware State Police said 16-year-old Zykier Flowers was shot and killed at a carnival in the parking lot of the Concord Mall in Wilmington. Police said shots were fired after a fight broke out around 10:45 p.m.

Flowers and a 17-year-old boy were hit. They were both taken to the hospital.

Flowers was pronounced dead, and the 17-year-old was seriously hurt but has since been released.
