PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police are searching for a man who attacked an employee of an Olney gas station and stole $8,500 from the store earlier this month.
It happened on Aug. 10 around 2 a.m. at the Liberty gas station along Rising Sun Avenue, near Tabor Road.
Police released surveillance video of the suspect on Tuesday, which first shows him playing a gaming machine. When the employee left his office to fix another gaming machine, police said the suspect followed him and assaulted him, stealing the cash.
