PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted for robbing a cellphone store at gunpoint not once, but twice.

Police said the second incident happened in the early afternoon of Jan. 12. Surveillance video shows a dark-colored Nissan SUV parking in the back of the Cricket Wireless store at Wayne and Chelten avenues in Germantown.

Footage shows the suspect walking to the front of the building and entering the store. Then, police said he robbed the store at gunpoint. The suspect ran out the back door and fled in his car.

Investigators said he was the same man who held up that store at gunpoint on Dec. 4, 2024.
