PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — One person is facing assault and robbery charges after a group of young people is seen on video beating up a 15-year-old in Havertown. The video was posted online.
Haverford Township police said at least six young people attacked the teen and stole his shoes.
It happened around 9 p.m. Monday in the parking lot of Chatham Park Elementary School, off of Manoa Road.
A witness recorded it all on a cellphone and shared it online.
The victim suffered a bloody nose.
Investigators expect at least five other teens to be arrested and charged in the attack.
