PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — There are many uses for artificial intelligence and it is clear we are just scratching the surface. AI is opening many doors for examining data.
A new study examined more than 166,000 movies and tracked whether murderous verbs were used in dialogue. The report is a follow-up of a report in the journal Pediatrics, which described the impact of violence or mentions of violence on children.
Quite concerning is that even in non-violent movies rated PG-13, speech about committing murders continues to increase over time with almost 7% of all movies analyzed containing extremely violent dialogue.
