PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Wawa has issued a recall for several of its milk products in stores across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland.
The convenience store is recalling certain 16-ounce bottles of four different types of milk because they could contain small pieces of soft plastic. They are:
• Wawa Double Dutch Chocolate Milk (195 stores affected across all four states)
• Wawa Chocolate Milk (only six stores in New Jersey affected)
• Wawa Cookies and Cream Milk (60 stores affected across Delaware, Maryland and New Jersey)
• Wawa 2% Reduced Fat Milk (only seven stores in New Jersey affected)
They each have a best-by date of March 2, except for the reduced-fat milk, which is best by March 5.
Wawa said all recalled products have been removed from its shelves. No other products are affected.
The company said consumers who purchased these milk products should dispose of them immediately. Customers can contact Wawa for a refund.
No injuries have been reported.
