PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police say a man is dead and a woman is injured after someone attempted to break into their house in Northwest Philadelphia Monday.
They say it looks like the shooter or shooters broke a window in the front of the home near Sommers Road and 74th Avenue around midnight and reached through it to shoot at the couple.
Investigators found most of the spent shell casings inside the home that, according to our partners at NBC10, was under renovation.
Police have not made any arrests.
