PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police are investigating after two teenagers were shot in unrelated incidents Friday night.

The first shooting happened on Drexel University's campus just before 6 p.m. Police say a 17-year-old was shot four times in the arm at the intersection of 34th Street and Lancaster Avenue. He was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.


Then, later in the night, just before 10:30 p.m., police say a 16-year-old was sitting on the steps of a SEPTA platform located on 52nd and Market streets in West Philly when a man shot him in the face.

The suspect then fled eastbound toward 51st Street and the teen was taken to a nearby hospital. He was listed in critical condition.

As of now, no arrests have been made for either shooting.
