PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Authorities in Wilmington, Delaware, have charged a 12-year-old boy with assault after they said he shot another boy in the face with a BB gun.
It happened around 3 a.m. Monday on the 700 block of Buttonwood Street, near Elbert Playground.
The 14-year-old who was shot was taken to the hospital with a serious eye injury.
Police took the 12-year-old into custody the next day. They also recovered the BB gun.
