PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Montgomery County is proving a lucky place to be this week. Two people won big in the Pennsylvania Lottery, totaling more than $8 million.

Officials said someone bought a Match 6 ticket at the Sunoco on Lancaster Avenue in Wynnewood. It hit the $5.8 million jackpot in Monday’s drawing.

Then in Pottstown, someone won “The Hunt” scratch-off, worth $3 million. Pottstown Beverage Company on Hanover Street sold that $30 ticket.

Both stores get a $10,000 bonus from the Pennsylvania Lottery for selling winning tickets.
