PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police are searching for a group they say carjacked a woman in Old City Saturday night.
According to authorities, the woman was parking her car near 4th and Chestnut streets when three armed men in masks walked up to her car, banged on her window and demanded she get out of her SUV.
According to investigators, at least one of the men jumped in and drove off.
Twenty minutes later, police say the woman's daughter spotted the vehicle abandoned in the middle of the road, at Bartram and Essington avenues, as she was on her way to pick up her mother.
No injuries were reported.
