Winfield was shot in her eye and taken to the hospital by the 23-year-old driver, who was shot in her shoulder. She died two days later.
Police did not say where in the city the shooting took place. Anyone with any information on the incident is urged to contact police. There is a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
