PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police in Bensalem are investigating a homicide after a woman was found dead inside a hotel room.
It was early Wednesday morning when authorities said Pennsylvania State Police received a tip about a possible homicide at a hotel or motel in Bensalem.
Police began searching hotels in the area of Route 1, and they said that ultimately led them to the discovery of a woman's body inside a room at the Sleep Inn on Street Road near Kingston Way.
Authorities said a suspect was taken into custody by police in Trenton, New Jersey.
Investigators have not yet released the name of the victim or the person arrested.
