PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A woman was shot in the head early Saturday morning after leaving work.

Police say the 23-year-old noticed she was being followed by a black Nissan on I-76 after leaving work in King of Prussia. The driver of the Nissan, which had heavily tinted windows and an inoperable left front headlight, followed the woman to North Fifth Street in Philadelphia, where they then got out and fired multiple shots at the woman’s car, striking her in the forehead.

The suspect then hopped back in the Nissan and drove off.

The woman was taken to a nearby hospital by private vehicle around 3 a.m. Officials say she is in stable condition.
