Police: Woman’s body found wrapped in sheet, shower curtain in Northeast Philadelphia

The victim had been stabbed multiple times and was shoved inside a futon, investigators say

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A woman’s body was found wrapped in a sheet and a shower curtain and stuffed inside a futon at a home in Frankford, police said.

Authorities went to the house on Frankford Avenue, near Unity Street, to follow up on a missing person’s report for a 21-year-old woman. Police said she hadn’t been heard from since Wednesday, April 2.

The woman had multiple stab wounds to her neck and torso.

Police did not find a weapon. No arrests have been made at this time.
