PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — The curtain is coming down on World Cafe Live.
The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that the legendary concert hall in University City, now known as World Stage, will close at the end of the month after 22 years in business.
A worker at the venue said their boss told them “how hard they worked to save the place,” but Halloween will be the venue’s last show.
World Stage filed for bankruptcy protection earlier this year.
