Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has announced that she has tested positive for COVID-19 and is experiencing symptoms.

Rep. Ocasio-Cortez shared on Twitter that she received a positive test for the virus. She also shared that she had received her booster shot this fall.

She said in her statement that she “encourages everyone to get their booster and follow all CDC guidance.”
