Amtrak offers 1-month USA Rail Pass for $299; 8 Philly routes included

Amtrak is ready to help you get out this summer and they're offering their USA Rail Pass for $200 off currently, which allows you to travel anywhere in the country for $299.

It's a 30-day pass that allows you to take 10 trips anywhere. You're given 120 days from when you bought the pass to begin using it and the 30 days begins once that first trip is taken.

500 destinations are available, with a few exceptions. You can check out routes here. The passes are available on Amtrak.com.

Philadelphia serves nine Amtrak routes, including:
- Acela (Boston to Washington) - not included with USA Rail Pass
- Cardinal (Chicago to New York)
- Carolinian (Charlotte to New York)
- Crescent (New Orleans to New York)
- Keystone (Harrisburg to New York)
- Northeast Regional (New York to Newport News/Norfolk)
- Pennsylvanian (New York to Pittsburgh)
- Silver Service/Palmetto (Miami to New York)
- Vermonter (St. Albans, Vermont to Washington)
