Breakfast snack packs sold at Kroger and Meijer stores in several states were recalled this week, according to a notice from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. They are called "Berry Buddies, Berries & Pancakes" from Naturipe Value Added Fresh LLC.

These 2.1-ounce, bento box style snack packs were recalled due to undeclared wheat and eggs, which can cause allergic reactions. Naturipe announced the recall Tuesday and the FDA published a notice Wednesday.

"People who have allergies to WHEAT and/or EGGS run the risk of serious allergic reactions if they consume these products," said the FDA.

States where the snack packs were sold include: Arkansas, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia, Minnesota, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Mississippi, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. They were usually found in refrigerated sections produce and deli departments of the Kroger and Meijer stores.
