Despite serious fire damage, a house in Melrose, Mass., is on the market with an asking price just shy of $400,000.

The 1,857 square-foot home resides in a suburb of Boston. The online listing reads, “House is in need of a complete renovation or potential tear down and rebuild… House being sold as is.”

Firefighters who put out the blaze that tore through the residence needed to rip out parts of walls and ceilings to finally bring it to heel, according to the Boston Globe. The fire burned so intensely that it blew out windows.

The median sale price of single-family homes in the area was listed in the vicinity of $550,000 by industry groups in August.
