This predicament picked up a lot of buzz.
A resident in New Mexico encountered a scary situation while at the grocery store when a swarm of 15,000 bees took over his vehicle's back seat.
Over the weekend, the shopper left his car windows down while heading into the store to grab groceries. However, when he returned and began to drive away, he realized thousands of bees were inside the car.
Jesse Johnson, an off-duty firefighter and spare-time beekeeper, was called to help the man in the supermarket parking lot, according to Good Morning America.
The Las Cruces Fire Department posted pictures of the incident, showing the swarm of bees inside the vehicle. Johnson, the hero, looked calm as he collected them.
The off-duty firefighter arrived at Albertsons grocery store, wearing a complete apiary safety outfit, with a hive kit and lemongrass oil.
It took Johnson about two hours to get all the bees from the car.
A security guard from the store was the only person that was stung.
