NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Bob Dylan is accused of sexually abusing a 12-year-old girl at his Chelsea Hotel apartment more than 50 years ago when he was in his 20s.

The lawsuit, filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, alleges the singer groomed the victim “as part of his plan to sexually molest and abuse” her.

“This 56-year-old claim is untrue and will be vigorously defended," a spokesperson for Dylan told The New York Post.

Dylan, now 81, is accused of abusing the victim multiple times, including some instances at the Chelsea Hotel, located on West 23rd Street in Manhattan.

The alleged victim is only identified as "J.C." and is now a 68-year-old Greenwich, Connecticut resident.

“Bob Dylan, over a six-week period between April and May of 1965, befriended and established an emotional connection with the plaintiff,” the documents read.

The suit details Dylan’s alleged use of drugs, alcohol and threatening violence, which the victim says still scar her decades later.

The suit claims Dylan established a “connection” to “lower [J.C.’s] inhibitions with the object of sexually abusing her, which he did, coupled with the provision of drugs, alcohol and threats of physical violence, leaving her emotionally scarred and psychologically damaged to this day.”

The allegations include battery, false imprisonment and infliction of emotional distress, according to the Post. They are seeking a jury trial and an unknown amount in damages.

The New York Post said the suit was filed last week, just ahead of the New York’s Child Victims Act look-back window.
