Atlanta police have reported that there is an active shooter in the city, and three people have been shot. Multiple officers are searching the area as the shooter has not yet been found.
Updated at 3:32 p.m. EST — Atlanta Police have shared that one of the victims that was shot has died, and the other two are receiving medical treatment at a nearby hospital. Their conditions are currently unknown.
Police have also shared photos of the suspect they believe to be responsible for the shooting.
The shooting reportedly took place in Colony Square in midtown Atlanta. Police reported the shooting at 2:40 p.m. EST.
Video online from Fox5 Atlanta shows people running from the area and multiple police cars responding to the area.
Police are telling everyone to stay indoors that are in the area of Peachtree from 12th to 15th Street.
