The zoo is the perfect place for people who want to see wild animals up close and personal, but sometimes people try to get a little too close. Every so often, a video of unlawful human interference in an animal enclosure gone horribly wrong goes viral. A woman in Texas last weekend is the latest to make such a daring, terrible decision.

This video shows her entering a spider monkey exhibit at the El Paso Zoo and hand-feeding them some Flamin’ Hot Cheetos.

As seen in the video, the woman jumps over a barrier to enter the enclosure, then stands near a waterfall as she tosses the snacks toward the monkeys.

Neither the monkeys nor the woman were harmed, according to People.

Still, zoo director Joe Montisano called her actions "stupid and lucky." The monkeys have a specific diet, which does not include Flamin’ Hot Cheetos.
