As anyone looking to buy a new home knows, finding the perfect place is a difficult task that takes time. Whether it’s the exterior, the interior, the location or any of a number of other factors, one strike can ruin a home’s potential.
However, for those looking to make a statement with their new home, the perfect property is now available.
A UFO-shaped house that has been called "the weirdest" in the country was recently placed on the market with an asking price of $1.7 million. The all-steel home is located near Lubbock, Texas, and was built by sculptor Robert Bruno.
The 2,200 square foot home includes three bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms, according to Yahoo. The home’s strange design has made it a popular Lubbock tourist destination, as visitors and locals travel to check out the sculptural home.
Bruno made completing the home his passion before he died in 2008, but he did not quite succeed. The new owners will have some holes to fill. Hopefully they stick to the theme.
