The Ivy League is still the head of the class when it comes to colleges in this country.
US News and World Report is out with its annual look at colleges and universities. It looks at a hundred different ratings to find the best of the best.
The number 1 college to get an education is Princeton. Harvard and Columbia are next. M-I-T and Yale round out the top 5.
Those five spots have not changed at all in the last year.
The best university in Texas in the US News ratings... is Rice University, at #16 overall. U-T finished in 42nd place.
The best college in North Texas is SMU. It tied for 66th place with Texas A&M. TCU landed in a tie for 80th.
