PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Giana is a loving 14-year-old who is a creative soul. She loves to dive into art projects, crafts and music classes.
The ninth-grader said she can sometimes become shy when meeting new people, but that doesn’t stop her. Getting to know others makes her day.
“I’m a very fun and loving person and I love meeting new people,” she said.
Giana loves spending time getting lost in books, especially if they pertain to cats. She hopes to find a family who loves animals as much as she does. She’ll need their support as she sees a future where she can work with animals.
“I want to take care of animals, make sure they’re healthy,” she added.
Gina Cordelle, Giana’s caseworker, said it is important that the family who comes into Giana’s life continues to encourage her love of animals and her bond with her 4-year-old brother.
“She is very loving and wants to be able to help everybody. She loves helping her little brother,” she said.
